Learning with PowerPoint

Much has been said about the inappropriate use of PowerPoint, but there's something I really like to use PowerPoint for: learning.

I like to read a technical book with PowerPoint open. Basically, PowerPoint is where I take my notes, creating a presentation as I go. I might use that presentation to teach at a future technical lunch (t'klunch, we call them at AgileTek) or I might not. The important part is that it helps me to organize my thinking and it helps me to learn.
