A morning on the Intertubes took care of the low-hanging fruit, so we've now got about 1/4th of our shopping done.
One of the things that makes shopping easier this year is the family jug band.
Yes, you heard me right: family jug band. I've asked my family what jug band instruments they want to play, they responded and now we're going to fix up the barn and put on a show.
- Mom - xylophone
- Denice (age 16) - harmonica
- Me - cookie tin banjer
- Brother-In-Law - slide whistle
- Denephew (age 19) - gutbucket
- Denice (age 9) - guitar
- The Redhead - something percussive
- Brother - washboard and jug
- Sister-In-Law - Melody Harp
- Big Sister - kazoo ish like
- Denice (age 7) - fiddle
- Little Sister - tambouriney thing
- Little Sister's Boyfriend - undecided
- Denephew (age 21) - Jaw harp
So, yeah, that makes holiday shopping easier.
